I recently came home with an antique Magnavox Imperial stereo cabinet. It works, it has tubes. It's loud as #$^%.

I don't know much else about it. from my research it seems to be from the 60's.
As one does, one of the first things I did was start taking it apart.Inside I found a wiring diagram for the beast and though to myself that someone else might find it useful at some point. So here it is! I colorized the wires that were labeled by color to give myself an easy reference.
If anyone has any more info on what I've got here I would love to hear from you. I've got what appears to be an issue when I swap it over to "Stereo FM" as well as "Stereo Phono". It gets all crackly and "tiny" when it plays and appears to not want to play correctly through the left side. Everythig sounds buttery smooth when played mono. I've played with the balancing and it doesn't do much to correct the problem. Until I have more time to poke around we are going to be enjoying some warm, tuby, mono-fm goodness.
TIP ON THIS UNIT: R/L balance is located under the Bass knob. Pull it off and insert a thin, flathead screwdriver. A small screw head inside adjusts the balance.
